It reminded me of some dark days in my life where I failed in hanging on for awhile, too. Like you, it was one horrible event after another. I remember thinking that the time of trouble could not be any worse! That time of trial showed me that my relationship with God was not as strong as I thought. I needed to see that. Many years later I was brought through more hard trials and this time I was surprised at the great peace He gave me to endure. Jesus will truly take us through! Looking forward to part 3 of your story!
